SixPivot - Pivotal to your business
We’ve been in the world of IT for so long that if you added our collective years we’d be older than Yoda! We’ve found the great people we’ve worked with in the past and the up and comers of the future and we’ve created a workplace that is inclusive; in other words we enjoy each other’s company. We value transparency and honesty and promote diversity. We look for the same in the clients and partners who we work with; we make no excuses for being selective when choosing our customers.
- What we stand for: Ethical / Sustainable / Profitable for us, our customers and the globe
- What we do: Rethink / Reframe / Imagine
- We create: Untapped Futures
- Our beliefs: People @ the Centre / Collaboration @ our core
THE SIXPIVOT POINTS
Strategy - Investment - Imagine - Build - Market - Technical Excellence
We formed SixPivot because of a unique need in the market when it comes to Cloud Strategy and ISVs. You’ve probably heard no end of stats around the number of startup IT companies that fail:
- “3 out of 4 start-ups fail.” (WSJ)
- “75% of venture-backed start-ups fail.” (Inc)
- “Estimates put the failure rate at 90%.” (The Guardian)
- “90% of startups fail.” (Mashable)
Not only are we seeing a trend in the number of startups who fail, we are also starting to see a trend in the number of ISVs who have made it through a few years with a successful product but the era of “as a service” and cloud technologies means that these successful ISVs need to innovate or detonate.
There is much speculation around why ISVs fail, however some of the biggest contributors to lack lustre success are often a combination of our SixPivot Points. The biggest complaints we hear from CEOs and Entrepreneurs of ISVs is their constant pressure to try to keep talent in their developer pool, keep up to date with technologies and best practice and create a development team that is inspired and focused on shipping great product. At SixPivot we have removed that pain so you can focus on understanding your business domain and we can focus on shipping your product. We are not an outsourced development company, we are deeply engaged partner in your business.
